What does " liposomal" ?

This term describes the nanotechnology used to "encapsulate" vitamin C inside a liposome (a spherical fatty structure composed of lecithin, also known as "phosphatidylcholine") to protect the water-soluble vitamin C until it reaches its point of assimilation (the duodenum). This encapsulation procedure prevents leakage and degradation of the vitamin in the stomach.
